On Monday 5th June, a few of our trustees set up a stall outside the Town Hall in Skipton for World Environment Day. We brought along a selection of the kind of items we’ll have in our Library of Things collection and spoke to passersby about what a Library of Things is, the benefit to the environment and to borrowers.

It was a great opportunity to ask people to fill out our survey, created to give us an idea of the sorts of things people would be interested in borrowing or donating, preferences which might help us with operational decisions, and interest in being involved as a volunteer when the time comes.

We had a great reception and, thankfully, the weather was on our side!
